SA Global Health Consulting Recognised for Maternity Takaful Innovation

At SA Global Health Consulting, our commitment to addressing maternal health gaps in Pakistan was recently recognised on the international stage.

Our innovative idea, Maternity Takaful, was selected among the top 5% of more than 2,900 applicants for the Unlock Her Future Prize South Asia Edition.

Maternity Takaful, is a holistic maternal health platform that combines financial protection with maternal education. It provides affordable, Shariah-compliant maternity coverage, a donation-based delivery fund for low-income families, and accessible digital resources including antenatal and postnatal courses.

Recognition and Feedback

Our application was reviewed by Ashoka and advanced to the International Selection Committee, which included global CEOs, founders, and business leaders.

The Unlock Her Future Prize team described Maternity Takaful as:

We were also invited to be featured in the Unlock Her Future South Asia community celebrations, honouring women entrepreneurs driving social impact across the region.
